DN80-DN100 ABOVE GROUND FIRE HYDRANT

In pressure water networks, hydrants are used for the fire department to take water with a hose and have a water intake port on the ground. The hydrant valve consists of a shaft that controls the valve, a spring-loaded valve (check valve) that serves as an automatic discharge, hose connection unions and the casting parts that form the body. When the shaft is turned clockwise with the help of a hydrant key, the hydrant is closed, and when the shaft is turned counterclockwise, the hydrant is opened. In order for the valve to drain the water in the hydrant, especially in cold weather, the hydrant must be closed. The valve on the body prevents freezing by draining the water in the hydrant when there is no water use (when the hydrant is closed). The valve closes in the direction of water flow (when the hydrant is opened). Thus, the sealing of the valve under pressure in the system is ensured.
